My Blog Has Moved

Well folks, I've finally done it. I've switched to WordPress and my blog is now on my own domain. So say good-bye to Blogger and good-bye to the bling. But don't be sad. Life is full of change. Change is a good thing. It keeps us on our toes. It challanges us and makes us stronger. And as your next President... oops, I got a little speechy there, didn't I?

Anyway, check me out at:

I'll look for you there.

Fake Magazine Covers

Create Fake Magazine Covers with your own picture at MagMyPic.com

I was visiting a new blog I discovered on Blog Catalog, Strawberry Fields Forever, and I came across a post for creating your own magazine covers. How could I resist? So I hit the link and within less than a minute I was uploading a picture of my daughter at Scrapplefest last year. How cute. She'd probably kill me if she knew I did this.

I recommend checking out the Strawberry Fields Forever blog. And if you don't know what Scrapple is, please check my blog archives.

That cover's pretty mean...I love it :)

Oh, scrapple is delicious. But being in California, you can imagine what it must be like getting some out here. And how in the world would some Hispanic guy know what scrapple is? My wife's family is from Amish Country (Lebanon, Reading, etc.) When I married her I brushed up on my Mennonite/Amish/Pennsylvania Dutch vocabulary real quick-like.

My wife's late grandfather loved shoo-fly pie and chow-chow. He had some stories, too.
