My Blog Has Moved

Well folks, I've finally done it. I've switched to WordPress and my blog is now on my own domain. So say good-bye to Blogger and good-bye to the bling. But don't be sad. Life is full of change. Change is a good thing. It keeps us on our toes. It challanges us and makes us stronger. And as your next President... oops, I got a little speechy there, didn't I?

Anyway, check me out at:

I'll look for you there.

Election Eve - Go Vote Tomorrow

I have a couple of funny videos I would like to share with all of you, but first a serious note: Please Vote Tomorrow! Whether you are voting for McCain, Obama, or Joe the Plumber as a write in, please exercise your right to vote. And I believe it is not just a right, but an obligation. People have fought and died in wars to protect your right to vote, faced mobs of racists and people full of hatred just to vote, and marched in protest just to protect their right to vote. And it's your turn to return the favor. Go vote. Don't let anyone deny you that right! And if you vote for Obama, so much the better!

This video just cracked me up. It's an edited version of the real interview. It's so wrong but so right!

This next video is the real McCain and Tina Fey as Sarah Palin in an SNL skit. It's hysterically funny and I've gotta give McCain props for doing it. It won't make me vote for him but it sure helped him look a little more human.

Tomorrow night we should have some idea who will be the new President of this great country. With all my heart and soul, I believe the right candidate is Barack Obama. And I know that I'm making sure my vote counts. Are you?

I agree with you Preston. Everyone should go out and cast their vote tomorrow. My husband and I plan to do it early in the morning after we drop off the kids in school. I hope there aren't long lines by then. I'm sure the turn out will be enormous. I talked to my parents, they live in southern CA and they already voted by absentee ballots. And yes, they voted for Obama.

Babette - Thanks for the vote of confidence and thanks for the vote for Obama!

Obama! Obama! Obama! Obama! Obama! Obama! I feel like I'm at rally! I went ahead and early voted. Count at least one vote in GA for President Obama. One of the benefits for living in the middle of nowhere is that there was no line. Obama! Obama! Obama! Obama!
Everyone Get out and vote.

Dad to Two - Who Hoo! I voted at 6:45am and had no lines either. Count an Obama vote in NJ.

As a Canadian I don't get to cast a vote, but I have certainly been caught up in this election.

But I won't be sad to see the back of the attack ads that have been dominating US airwaves for such a long time.

Its hard to measure the damage such ads must do to democratic institutions and respect for elected officials.

The McCain infomercial was his best job yet! Happy Voting everyone! OBAMA!

Barry - Yes, I won't miss the attack ads at all. I am so sick and tired of being bombarded with them from both sides. I think the American public in general is sick of the attack ads as well.

Hihoohio - If McCain doesn't win the election, he can always go to work for QVC! LOL
